Maryann Ridini Spencer is an award-winning screenwriter, author, producer, journalist, TV Host, and business owner committed to creating content that entertains, inspires, educates, and uplifts.

Maryann began her career as a writer/producer for Cable News Network and has served as Senior Vice President of Public Relations, Advertising & Marketing for a number of Hollywood studios and firms.

In 1990, Maryann founded Ridini Entertainment Corporation (REC), a Multimedia Content Creation, PR/Marketing and TV/Film Production Company, to combine her passions for writing, producing and marketing. Maryann receives BRAVO’s 2016 “Visionary of the Year Award”

Throughout her career, Maryann’s passion for writing and developing content has naturally led her to become  a contributing journalist to many publications a sampling of which include:   Los Angeles Magazine, California Magazine, Desert Magazine, Palm Springs Life (lifestyle writer and food editor), Ventura County Star (part of the Gannett/USA Today Network).  Maryann’s print and video columns “Sustainable Ventura News” an environmental news series, and “Simply Delicious Living,” (broadcast on PBS-TV in Southern California & Roku), a series focusing on the preparation of easy, healthy and delicious dishes and joyous living inspirations, currently run on the news, lifestyle, and food and wine pages at (Search: Simply Delicious or Sustainable Ventura at vcstar.com).
