“Coconut Banana Supreme”

One of my favorite, quick and easy-to-make Yummy recipes is a dessert that I make with Extra Virgin Coconut Oil that is both nutritious and delicious!

Ingredients
  • 3-4 bananas peeled and cut into quarters
  • ¼ c. Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
  • ½ c. Frangelico (Hazelnut flavored liquior) or Amaretto
  • Purchased Organic Whipped Cream Topping (or see recipe below*)
  • ½ c. shaved dark chocolate
  • ½ c. shredded coconut
  • ½ c. pecans, diced
  • Whipped Cream Topping:
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 2 T. sugar
Instructions
  1. In a frying pan on the stovetop, cook bananas in coconut oil until they become slightly brown.
  2. Flambé with ½ cup of Frangelico.
  3. Immediately put the bananas and liqueur mixture onto a serving dish.
  4. Garnish with whipped topping, shaved coconut, shaved chocolate and pecans. Serve immediately.
  5. Directions for making Whipped Cream: Place cream and sugar in a large bowl. With an electric mixer, whip mixture until it forms stiff white peaks.
